I still can't believe people are crying about getting vaccined.

Only time the government is ever going to pay for your health-care.

I've heard it being speculated that the reason so many aren't being vaccinated is because they're skeptical of anything free in this country.

If the vaccine had a price attached to it and people who are broke can ask for it to be covered, then ironically more people might actually take it. This is the direct result of presidents both republican and Democrat refusing to make health care a priority while most of the world already got the message and solved that problem.

I don't know if that will be a continuous thing. There are a lot of respected virologists and immunologists that think a booster is overkill for most people.

There's a huge difference in administering vaccines during the middle of a pandemic versus administering a vaccine when herd immunity has already been achieved. Oddly enough two of the vaccines that you named (chicken pox and polio) provide non sterilizing immunity and also have lower efficacies then Pfizer and Moderna. shyt, the polio vaccine efficacy is actually in the 70% range.

The main thing that each of them have going for them is that 90%+ of US citizens has been innoculated for each of them

They should just give insurance companies incentives to raise fees and deductibles on patients who aren’t vaccinated and get hospitalized for Covid related issues. Also insurers should stop writing off test costs for unvaccinated people.

United Airlines announced their vaccine mandate last month and got over 50-% of the unvaccinated workers to get the shot. They still have a few more weeks to get it or get fired. Honestly the federal government isn’t going to solve this: employers will. Major companies aren’t letting this shyt fukk them over again. Get the shot or get fired.

My job is doing this now. teachers are pushing back on this. They have until middle of the month or they cant come back.
