No he's not. Lyrically Jay-Z is on another level. That Peter Griffin from Family Guy voice of Jay-Z however...I can understand if someone prefers listening to Big Boi rap.

And it's not even a fair comparison cause Jay-Z has had one of the best solo mainstream careers of any rapper. Big Boi had been a part of Outkast for most of his career.
