I don't like the way this site treats pac. It's hella disrespect in every one of his threads. I swear it wasn't like this 10 years ago. I don't know what happened but you nikkas need to grow up

This makes no sense because Pac’s peak was bigger than Cube’s when he was alive and as far as Snoop, he came out the gate a star and was more popular than Pac. When Pac joined Death Row though, Pac’s star shined brighter.I get the sentiment but this is always a pointless statement cause we'll never know. if snoop or cube got cut down in their prime we'd be saying the same shyt and look at them now
The nikka had to get shot, catch a case, go to jail, dissed the hottest rapper at the moment, & then dieThis makes no sense because Pac’s peak was bigger than Cube’s when he was alive and as far as Snoop, he came out the gate a star and was more popular than Pac. the soft actor shyt always came off as a nikka that is completely off his rock trying to sound deep. Dude was a known lunatic, not saying he was the biggest, baddest or toughest but there's enough stories about him out there to know that he clearly had something going on mentallyI like that he pointed out that Pac was wild before he got big, this gets lost in a lot of conversations because of one or two videos where he comes off soft.
How the hell is going to prison gonna HELP his popularity when he wasn’t even available to promote his album? Still had the #1 album in the country. The nikka had to get shot, catch a case, go to jail, dissed the hottest rapper at the moment, & then die
bone e1999 album was on the chart for over a year and was outselling all eyez on me prior to pac dying
Me against the world sir is when pac started to sell respectfullyHow the hell is going to prison gonna HELP his popularity when he wasn’t even available to promote his album? Still had the #1 album in the country.
AEOM was already multi-platinum before Hit ‘em Up dropped. I remember 1995-96 VERY well.
no you don'tExactly what was “hate”? I talked more about Nas and Dilla than 2pac. I’m not as infatuated with these rappers as you guys are. 2pac was 6 years older than me.

jay didn't sell until pac and big diedMe against the world sir is when pac started to sell respectfully
what's your point2pac had to die to sell 5 million which took 16 yearsjay didn't sell until pac and big diedwhat's your point
nas could do it. why couldnt jay
The score first week sales 188,000Remember the topic is comparing Pac to MJ and none of what you just said takes away from the fact that Pac did not dominate 96 while alive. He shared it with The Fugees ( LOL @ you attempting to flip their genre as a means of trying to take points away). You can't be MJ status and share the most successful year in your career with another entity with just as much spotlight that same year as well as big album sales.
Next you’ll say Lauren hill was hotter than X and Jay in 98The score first week sales 188,000
All eyes on me first week sales 566,000
Makaveli first week sales 664,000
Wasn’t even close. The score was mainstream safe negro music which is why it ended up having long ass legsNext you’ll say Lauren hill was hotter than X and Jay in 98
These artists all had their own thing happening… the culture was in a waaaaay better place than it is now. Keep in mind that Prime Mike Jack was in an era with Stevie, Whitney, Luther, Lionel Ritchie, hell Janet when she caught on fire, We all knew Mike was the man but other artists were doing their thing out here too.,. Same can be said for Tupac
@Tommy Gibbs be in EVERY Pac thread and hates himcouldn't be me

People be putting these current hiphop times on the 90’s. Man the 90’s were a whole different beast lol. Pac was one of if not the biggest star of the 90’s. People wouldn’t be talking about him today if that were not true. Bro was like a triple threat out here, rapper, actor, poet.. you can add more if you want. Imagine trying to put Salt N Pepa over PacThese artists all had their own thing happening… the culture was in a waaaaay better place than it is now.
