Big E is in a very dangerous spot right now

I feel like he's got one foot firmly in "the point of no return" area.

Just a couple years ago as AJ/Dolphs bodyguard it seemed like he had a future once he broke away, whenever that would be. He's a big powerful guy, w/ charisma, a good "look" to be successful as a wrestler, was the NXT champ. Eventually he broke away and he gained fan support enough to become a CREDIBLE Intercont'l Champ.

But somewhere during his IC title reign he somehow became an afterthought So much so that I(most of us) knew he was gonna lose the belt to Barrett w/o question.

Now his "feud" w/ Rusev, the gimmicky preacher voice.....they're just grasping at straws now to put something on face-ish him. But he's at a point now where he's "just there" & fans don't care.

Whereas just a year or so ago it seemed like the company really liked him

I think the difference w/ Booker T is that, other than the GI Bro thing, which he was already successfu prior to, he's always been booked as a serious contender for the tag team belts, the US title, and then the world title. Even his comedic King Booker days he was still a world champ.

Big E right now can barely last more than 5 mins w/ Rusev.

Missed opportunities thanks to the rise of The Shield as individuals, the emergence of Rusev, and no feud with Ryback while he still had a buzz.

Remember when he had that stand-off with Sheamus, I believe. They never followed through.

getting that mid card title in the E is a death sentence..instead of elevating you its like creative just says 'ok he has a belt we don't need to write anything for him'.. big e is no different he has gone down hill since getting the I.C. belt..luckily Ambrose survived since he was in the shield though..they did the same with him.. gave him the u.s. title and just forgot he even had it

They should just give him the Sexual Chocolate gimmick with Henry as his tag partner. Would be comedic gold and they could feud with Goldy/Stardy

this is one of WWE's biggest flaws currently only one (WWE WHC) title matters. Think of US and IC champs probably since Y2J's last IC run in 09 and how many people rose WITH the title. They stop writing for them after getting the title and/or give them artifically long reigns with little to no defenses or storylines. It's kinda funny because Triple H and Michael Hayes once criticized CM Punk's 1st WHC run as him being carried by the title when that seems to be the norm for all non-WWE WHC title holders these days.

I dont think he could ever get to the level of Booker T regardless.

They should just give him the Sexual Chocolate gimmick with Henry as his tag partner. Would be comedic gold and they could feud with Goldy/Stardy

but he's better(or WAS at one point) than a comedy relief fallback. He coulda been near what Lashley was at his peak.
