I've never challenged that...all that can be true and then some... hence my folklore statement
local legend ...he had time and a platform abd wasted it with a dud. In that sense he can be compared to Cassidy cause they both dropped disappointments after underground hype
Nothing folklore about how revered dude was during his career, way before he passed.
Only people who got up on him after the fact, were cacs, as usual. Actual Hip Hop heads were all f*cking with L. He was far from just a local legend. Watch videos of dude touring in spots like Japan and Germany, while indie. Whole crowds knew the words to his songs and were all throwing L's in the air.
Cassidy dropped a decade after L did, and had more of a budget and benefited from a time when there wasn't legends dropping every week, and
still never became anything. L was an underground legend
before his album even dropped, and was loved and respected by all of the legends themselves and worked with them too. He's from one of the game's most legendary crews and still gets brought up when people speak on the best ever. Nobody talks about Cassidy. I forget dude ever existed.
You should do more homework on MC's, and look into how impactful they were. Speak to the people who were there. Because it's clear you weren't. Do that sh*t, even if you weren't up on them before they died.
