You seem like you are slow.
Rashad said he came with the beats and asked if they were ready to pay and they said nothing. He said if they would have gave him a deposit or something he would have never sold the records. Lol

I feel for you breh. It seems you have a real hard time understanding child like order of events

You’re not only fukking retarded you’re a goddamn liar
again , how come you and others do not want to confront or address the true story of upfront them telling him that biggies budget hasn’t cleared yet

The budget being cleared is irrelevant. They didn't want to put a deposit down or pay in full so beat went to someone who was ready to do so.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
Hip-hop has some many interesting stories behind legendary hits/songs

What if D12 hadn’t passed on the beat that became In Da Club?

What if Busta Rhymes took the beat that became Halftime?

What if Fat Joe took the Hate It or Love It beat?

What if Cypress Hill took the Passin’ Me By beat?

What if Shawnna kept the beat that became Gold Digger?

What if Pusha T got Ni**as in Paris instead of Kanye & Jay?

What if Nas took the We Gonna Make It beat before Jadakiss?

What if DMX took the Back That Azz Up beat Mannie Fresh played him?

What if 2Pac took the Can’t Nobody Hold Me Down beat before Puff?

What if Jay-Z had kept the Umbrella beat instead of passing it to Rihanna?

What if Eminem kept Renegade for himself instead of giving it to Jay-Z?

What if Dr. Dre gave Nuthin’ But a G Thang to another artist?

A lot of “what if’s”… whole careers could’ve flipped off just one beat and could’ve changed hip-hop history.

The only one that interests me is the 2Pac on the Can't Nobody Hold Me Down track.
I think that could have been nice

:snoop: this is getting a bit ridiculous with y’all posters on here

how in the hell did big get emotional? He came up with a concept for his song , told a producer what he wanted for the track , the dude did the track and sold it to somebody else
at the end of the day that’s foul …. if it wasn’t foul, then why does Rashad say himself that he understood why big didn’t wanna fukk with him anymore that was his own words

I just don’t understand why you dudes are completely ignoring the fact that he was told upfront that the budget wasn’t cleared
yet he still did the track , I need y’all to explain this to me

Even if we give credit to BIG for picking the samples he wanted to rhyme over the fact remains the work was exclusively created and thus owned by Rashad, that's the way it goes.

I do agree with you, Rashad was told up front that there was no budget and he still went to work, damn all that payment was promised, nah I need payment upfront.

now , you’re moving the goalpost …. how can you say the budget not being cleared is irrelevant
No I'm not moviing the goalpost.
You don't even know how to properly use the term. lol
The budget not being cleared is not a Rashad issue, its an issue for biggie and puff if they want the beat.

He had the beats ready brought them to them and they weren't able or ready to pay.
LL was though.

It's a good thing he sold it to LL.

I love Biggie like most, but LL had the “ladies' man” thing going in '95. That whole Mr. Smith album was basically him going off and flexing for that audience.

Yeah, Biggie was a favorite among women, too, for different reasons, but there's no denying LL had the looks (pause) and appeal to draw in women similar to that of Pac.

Imagine Biggie rapping on Around The Way Girl :mjlol: sure he'd kill it in terms of spittin' but he ain't got the sex appeal to make the song click the way LL does.
One of Biggies biggest hits was the One More Chance Remix

:salute:

hopefully these others will get it like u have gotten it

again, I’m not mad at the brother because he sold the track due to his wife being pregnant and needing to take care of her
My problem has always been why in the hell did you do the track at all when you knew upfront the budget issues, which means you’re not gonna get paid until that is cleared

like if we was going to make an analogy,
it would be a unemployed person struggling with money who’s decides to take a job as an intern

Somebody got a get A.I. to see if Big woulda ate too
Brother I can tell you wholeheartedly had Big came out with a song over that muthafukkin beat at that exact moment in time when his popularity was at its peak amongst the in crowd, not the whites, the whole East Coast might’ve fukked around and exploded.

The man was in dire straits financially. Sold the beat HE created and the rest is history.

I understand feeling bad that you let your friend down but at the end of the day it was his beat, his life, and he made the best decision for HIM. Puff wouldn’t even give him a deposit and here comes somebody ready to give you DOUBLE you’re asking price?

Ten times out of ten you take that deal. Biggie ain’t feeding his family.

of course it’s a Rashad issue when the budget is not cleared

So let me ask you a question if somebody was the hire you and tell you straight upfront that they didn’t have the money to pay for your service at the time … would you still do the job?

Not it wasn't a Rashad issue, because Rashad sold the beats for double what Puff would have paid. lol
Yes I would and I would tell them I have a product I am sure they would want and tell them the price.
If they said they still didn't have the money I would say fine, and put it on my website or showroom floor and sell it to everyone.

What are you confused about kid? shyt isn't hard to understand.
