Okay, I'm taking my queques from a couple Phonte and 9th interviews from a while back

I'm cool with no more music as long as they all civil

nah you could have a point, I'm just saying something may have happened recently. I remember when Phife passed, Tay said he wasn't opposed to a reunion. I hope them boys get back together just so I can see them live. They have one of the best live shows ever. I'ont een need any new music.

Minstrel Show was a far better and more complete album, but this was still a cool effort.

Facts. Minstrel Show is one of my favorite albums OAT.

I have a theory on why they didn't get signed to GOOD Music... I've seen others allude to the same thing. But I'll just leave it at that

I always had two possible reasons.
1. BET actually told LB they they were "too intelligent for their channel". At the time artists needed promotion though those larger outlets and without that the labels knew they'd flop. Breakin My Heat got some airtime, but that was strictly because of Wayne.
2. I read an article once about this and they talked about the "Renegade effect" saying that after the whole "Eminem murdered you on your own shyt" artists were scared to share the mic with lyrically advanced rappers. Ye and Drake both admitted to being huge LB fans so its sus they never reached out

well i know the brothers. The leftover issue was with Pooh and Tay. 9th and Pooh were back doing work way before 9th and Tay patched things up. If Pooh has a problem with 9th that's new.

Kanye is far from his backpack days and I've heard ppl mention on here that Aubrey's people wanna keep him far away from the "underground"...ie why he is always collabin' with street artist or Pop singers

This came out my senior year of high schol. My pops had just gave me his truck but it didn't have a CD player. I recorded this whole album to a tape. This album being 10 yrs old shows how old I am, because Tay's line "I feel the oldest 28 yr old I know" resonates now that I'm 27
