Phonte said they're cool on Juan Epstein (he and Pooh) and Pooh said he and 9th are cool on Rosenberg earlier this year, so hopefully there's a joint we'll get in 2016. I'm not betting on it, but I'm hoping.
:mjcry: If only Tay wanted to rap still. I just can't get jiggy with the vast majority of his FE shyt.

Pooh's last 2 projects have been really dope and he's gotten much better imo. Would def be interesting to hear them together now.

I didn't love the new FE album myself. I've really loved Pooh's last 2 projects with Apollo Brown and Nottz. I like that he's doing projects produced by one producer. The funny thing is Phonte's never wanted to really rap solo. He used to always say that he felt like he had enough to say in a group format and that he never wanted to be a guy doing solo rap albums just for the sake of rapping. It's been a few years since CSAH so I'm sure he's got enough life experiences in between to drop a good album with some raps on it, and he's said what he's recorded so far for his new album is raps.

Would definitely be interesting to hear them together again. Pooh seems more strong in his own themes and ideas, whereas Phonte used to come up with the concepts for the most part. Like I've always said, I'd be happy with just a short EP.

The Foreign Exchange's catalog is just flawless IMO.

Tales From The Land Of Milk And Honey was good.....a little different than the previous 4 albums before it. Although I would rank it as my least fave of the group. It's probably 3.5./5 tho

That Authenticity album is classic too. Up there with Connected IMO. I really enjoy Nicolays production. I don't mind Phonte when he sings. He's mad good at it.

and while I'm at it, I consider his solo "Charity Starts At Home" as a future classic as well....that album was nothing but grown man shyt....This is the type of shyt I want to hear on a new LB album in the late 2K10's.....

Connected is like the beta version of FE to me. Almost like a cross between what FE is now and Little Brother/Justus League. My favorite FE albums are actually the order they go in: Connected, Leave It All Behind, Authenticity, then Land of Milk and Honey.

CSAH is great and a personal classic. Definitely grown up music. I like Phonte when he sings too because he also knows his range and doesn't try to force too much.

Nicolay actually lives in my city. Bumped into him at a pizza parlor last month.

I would love for a new LB album and even a tour (LB shows still my favorite live shows) unfortunately I doubt it ever happens, who knows though... Phonte said he is working on his solo (which is all rap right now, because the only song he has recorded for it is a rap song haha) maybe they all three get in the studio again and it clicks and they bless us with an album.

As far as FE+ goes, I love their albums, although Milk and Honey is probably my least favorite project.

I got them

Connected
Authenticity
Leave it All Behind (could be second, just depends)
Love In Flying Colors
Land of Milk and Honey

EASILY the weakest link
ruined so many songs :scust:

he's gotten better but I'm having a hard time forgiving him for previous wackness :yeshrug:

I could see if he went on to become better than or at least as respected as his partner in rhyme a la Tame 1 or Sean Price but dude still lowkey basura to me, even tho i know in my heart of hearts he's at least serviceable now

but i'll tell you this, he's definitely not somebody i see featured on a project and think :blessed:

in my opinion T3 from Slum VIllage has made greater strides in terms of pen game over the years

Another phonte album would be nice...

not sure about Phonte and Big Pooh. Phonte to me is a superlative artist and another hip hop album from him would be a gift. Pooh isn't on Phonte's level and never was, Pooh's verses were always skippable with his predictable flow and lyrics...it wasn't until the third album he was listenable, and by that time 9th was long gone.

:obama:
