I wonder how rappers who are on the whole "I'm not lyrical, I just make fun music for people to dance to" steez feel when things like this happen?

Like, they know they'd be laughed off the face of the Earth by their own fans if they even try to jump into the conversation.

Like...how do they just survive not being able to competitively compete in the genre like that? How do they feel?

K dot I would say got them but Jay went in too. Sean came the weakest so he got murdered by both of them. It was good to hear Jay Electronic, he needs to stop B.S.in and get this album out. Sean was "OK", he's not really that lyrical to begin with. He's mostly flow/voice. With all that said, Kendrick lost his damn mind on that "King of NY" lyric. Yes I get he was using it as a metaphor but still, you aren't again on that level. LOL @ "Who's the best Emcees Kendrick, Jay Z and NaS". Really?

Kendrick is not New York in any shape or form. The line can be taken the wrong way metaphor or not. I get he was saying he's the offspring of Pac and Biggie but still. He was walking a tight rope of blasphemy with some of those lines. I'm happy he's lighting a fire under these new N!ggas a$$es. Also it is funny seeing some twitter reactions and message board reactions. Some rap fans are acting like they never heard someone rip a collabo before. Whether Kendricks verse was all that or not is debatable, as with everything and that's fine. But Lupe just needs to shut the entire fukk up at this point. Rarely seen such a annoying figure in hiphop, who has so much to whine but fails to deliver everytime he has to.
