Beyond this I want to hear Pusha's response, and I believe bullets saying Jay Elect verse was old. It didn't mesh with the energy of the other verses at all so I doubt it was made after he had heard them.

I agree 100% with Talib. New York Emcees need to be NEW YORK EMCEES. Biggie rapped over all types of westcoast, south and midwest beats but he still kept all the core elements that made New York Emceeing Legendary. Some of these NY rappers are actually trying to change their style to sound like different regions while sacrificing what made New York great.

But most of these new guys don't have the talent to be a NY MC. Imagine French Montana struggling over a nice Premo beat
