I see Kendrick following in the footsteps of Jay. This reminds me of the verses on Takeover when Jay basically took shots at the whole rap game. Is it going to backfire like it did for Jay? Who's going to play the role of Nas? :lupe:

None of the dudes he mentioned are even nice enough to be on that level. None of them are even better than Schoolboy or Ab Soul.

Lupe Fiasco such a fakkit. On twitter for 2 days straight trying to explain why people shouldn't be impressed by this. What is wrong with him? :snoop:

I wonder how rappers who are on the whole "I'm not lyrical, I just make fun music for people to dance to" steez feel when things like this happen?

Like, they know they'd be laughed off the face of the Earth by their own fans if they even try to jump into the conversation.

Like...how do they just survive not being able to competitively compete in the genre like that? How do they feel?

:ohhh:

Hell even Kid and Play even went back at Luke and the Poison Clan for talking shyt. LOL at dudes calling this shyt weak and then dikk riding Drake of all people as if he's Rakim reincarnated. Kill yourself
