As for the whole NY thing, I don't think dude really even meant much malice by it, but it goes to show you how valuable the city is when rappers who ain't even from here want that crown just as much, if not more than the one from the city that they're actually from.

However you want to look at it though, Kendrick went ahead and made a play for better hip hop, and better music, which is what it should be about at the end of the day. Can't do anything but respect that. :obama:
