You guys really trynna downplay but forget that Kendrick shytted on both Big Seans album release and basically hijacked drakes press tour for nothing was the same. Had a bunch of c and d list rappers recording a direct response

Who else has done that this era.

Control really showed how weak the game is now. Not in terms of music but in terms of personality/characters. nikkas is soft. If you caught feelings at another rapper saying "I'm better than you" then you lost end of story. Drake's crying over the verse really re-secured my lack of respect for him.

BTW the (mainstream) west coast resurgence that has happened since GKMC/Control has been pretty apparent, and Kendrick gets credit for it (even if he isn't responsible for it).

Did jay ever respond to Ab sonning him about kendrick sonning him?

Breh was ready to go to war. I guess Top never gave him the cue to take him to school.

Still cold.... Crazy that a random feature on a random album cut that didn't even go on the album set the whole game off.

I don't mind people saying it's overrated, that's fair but I can't think of any rap verse that has had this kind of impact since. shyt wasn't even a diss.. All about competition. But Kendrick was definitely in his bag at this time
