Y’all in here copping pleas for this mid ass shyt. The album is just good/average, nothing special and that’s okay. The world is gonna keep spinning
I’m gonna keep 5-6 tracks and keep it moving. He’s never gonna top Dark Sky Paradise.Did I ever tell y’all how much I hate Detroit rap
Cypher should have had Dusty Mcfly and Elzhi on it.
Gonna give it one more spin but it’s not moving me like the first Detroit tape
Lucky Day, Harder Then My Demons, or Don Life would’ve been better intro choices. The album should have kicked off with Don Life

album has grown on me alot this weekend. id say its better than i decided. i dont like the way he approaches certain songs but lyrically, his rapping is always very good, if that makes sense. dope album. great content. very inspirational.
as far as it being too long, i guess it saves him releasing a deluxe version ina couple months.
I must say that I’m pretty shocked. There’s a lot of good songs, but I’d assume that Sean was aiming higher than this, cause he shows that he has the talent and he also has the mind, support and on.Y’all in here copping pleas for this mid ass shyt. Album is all over the place.
He's put out plenty of concept and theme projects. There's nothing wrong with him just dropping some piff IMOI must say that I’m pretty shocked. But this basically sounds like “a collection of some songs I’ve been working on”. It’s neither I’m trying to show that I’m the best Mc nor I’m trying to sell a lot of records. Just a bunch of songs that are all over the place and some of them just magically happened to be dope and many meh, next.
I’ll listen again to see if I catch the Detroit angle more than the well executed skits.

It's not so much about concept and theme as about the songs being all over the place, as in a lot of songs feel like demo quality in terms of structuring and writing. But as I said, I need to give it a few more spins. I think that my expectations were unrealistic but idk yet. He's put out plenty of concept and theme projects. Everything doesn't have to be a conceptual album.
im on my second listen but this is way better than Detroit....He's not hungry anymore..
I mean Ive listened to dude since finally famous 2 and he has come a long way
but Dark Sky Paradise and I Decided/Detroit are his peak projects.
I'm actually replaying DSP right now
Where’s this piff of his that you’re referring to ?He's put out plenty of concept and theme projects. There's nothing wrong with him just dropping some piff IMO
