This is incorrect. Big Sean said Eminem was a last minute addition, so technically the track would’ve ended with Royce.

I say this respectfully but it appears that the majority of people who listened to the track purposefully did so to listen to Eminem, and they enjoyed his verse.

Either way, Em’s verse was ass, as they have been for a long time.

Listened earlier today. Started STRONG. The rest was meh, primarily because a lot of the songs just kind've blended together in the wrong way. I'm going to give it another listen straight through, but off this one listen, I'd say the biggest criticism is that it's too long.

Also, we gonna talk about Dom Kennedy (presumably) getting paid for a feature and basically just talking? Breh out here finessing artists. :mjlol:

Off one listen I give it a B. I don’t know if it’s a Detroit thing but the production seemed very “noisy” there was a lot going on in those beats.

We do have very "busy" beats. Only thing I can really compare it to is New Orleans. Less emphasis on drums and melody and more about "bounce". Its been that way for the better part of like 10-15 years. Post-Dilla/Slum.
Helluva finally found the right blend between making it sound polished without sacrificing that "bounce".

Sean also has a habit of picking really over-produced tracks. "Toyoda Music" comes to mind.

The only track I'd say are not the best but HAVE to stay are Body Language and The Baddest. Both of those are Detroit-based samples basically.

Godzilla mix was a sure-fire way to get a hip roll battle between some girls back in the 2000's :wow:
