I came in here to post this. Fukk the NFL for signing off on this greedy move. I use to play NFL 2K games heavy too. I stop playing football games because of this shyt.

I remember when 2K came out brand new at a lower price. I was like "They're not fukking around.:ohhh:"

I don't remember how much it was at retail but it got EA shook of course. :russ:

The fukkery of the PS3 roll out had me:dahell::mindblown:

When the president of Sony was out here talking about "Even if the Ps3 had no games it would sell:smugbiden:"

:dahell::dahell::dahell:

$600?:dahell::dahell::dahell:

Sony during the early PS3 days was something else:

"I believe that the Sixaxis controller offers game designers and developers far more opportunity for future innovation than rumble ever did. Now, rumble I think was the last generation feature;" Sony: Rumble is a 'Last Generation Feature': News from 1UP.com

"If you can find a PS3 anywhere in North America that's been on shelves for more than five minutes, I'll give you 1200 bucks for it." "If you can find a PS3 anywhere in North America that's been on shelves for more than five minutes, I'll give you 1200 bucks for it."

"The PlayStation 3 is a computer. We do not need the PC."Next-Generation Systems: Sony's Greatest Quotes!

"[PS3 is] for consumers to think to themselves 'I will work more hours to buy one” Celebrate the Past with Ken Kutaragi's Greatest Hits!: News from 1UP.com

Sony during the early PS3 days was something else:

That arrogance.:wow:
:laff:

Arrogant Sony was the funniest shyt ever.

"It’s probably too cheap…" (Ken Kutaragi on the $599 PS3, 2007)

"Microsoft does not concern us. Microsoft is not a technology company."(Nobuyuki Idei, Sony chief corporate adviser, 2007)
:dead:

"The Xbox 360 is more of an Xbox 1.5 than a next generation console." (Ken Kutaragi on the design of the competition, 2005)
:mjlol:

"This time, Microsoft has stated clearly that it is going after the PlayStation. However, they're going not after the PlayStation 3, but the PlayStation 2. They were looking at 2, and that's why [Xbox 360] became like that." (Ken Kutaragi explains Microsoft’s lack of ambition with the 360, 2005).

"[Wii] is a lollipop, and I'm too old for lollipops." (Jack Tretton, 2007)

”The Xbox - again, I can't come up with one word to fit. You need a word that describes something that lacks longevity.” (Kaz Hirai. 2009)

We don’t care”. (Ken Kutaragi provides Sony’s response to the successes of the Wii and 360, 2006)

Man, console wars were probably on fire during those years :wow: I just couldn't believe an exec would boldly say these things.
