I got caught cheating during my freshman year of college and almost got kicked out of school.
This was back in '04 and I was originally a Computer Science major. Thing is, I struggled with that shyt and decided to get out. Since it was too late in the semester I had to finish it out then switch. We had a regular course plus a once-a-week lab course. One day during the lab, I'm messing around not doing work. We had to use this program to save our files and for the professor to access them. Clicking around, I see that I can access everyone's files (thought it was a glitch). Being desperate (and stupid), I try it again at home and copy this guy's files to complete an assignment.
The next class, the professor tells me he had found dude's files in my folder (some were hidden behind mine). He had figured I had used dude's computer during class. I'm like

since I technically didn't get caught but instead of stopping there, I continue to do this type of shyt for the rest of the semester.

Get to the final exam and I figured I bombed it but I was just glad to get it over with. I had to take some summer courses to boost my GPA and before the first day, I check my final grades and see 'F's for the Comp. Sci. courses. I then see an e-mail from the professor.

It was one of those "I know you did it just admit it" types. While the program wasn't encrypted to keep people from accessing others' folders, there's still a fukking log of all activity so he could see every time I did the shyt. (People who don't normally cheat should leave it to the professionals

) I ultimately admitted what I did to him but had to explain it to moms.
