New York radio has a history of protecting their own

Angie still hasn't released that Pac interview that tore into NY's ass and its been 25 years

if the Biggie audio exist they're never letting it out the safe
Starting to think that Angie interview includes Tupac’s confession that Diddy, Suge, Dre, Biggie and him were all downlow together and dealing with a nasty fallout:dame:

This shyt up there with Suge allegedly having posters done up with him and Misa Hylton and Pac/Faith with “NYC can’t even take care of their own” as a caption. And guess what? For everyone who said they seen them, it’s a million mf’s who haven’t. This shyt is damn near 30 years old. There’s much more concerning stuff than this old ass BS

Any brehs hear this ish live?

What was said?

We all know the gist of the story, jw how incendiary BIG's comments were or if the words were twisted over time.
Yeah thats what i want to know …. Someone had to remember what he said … not just want other rappers etc recall ….. big frank said biggie got it mistaken and thought it was “Tupac and the doggpound “ but in reality it was snoop and the doggpound acording to big frank biggie was on some “ I can’t believe newyork is alllowing Tupac and the doggpound to film a music video in our city newyork stand up etc …. Trey deee on vlad a few years ago said similar thing about newyork standing up then mentioned a few newyork street cats by their streetnames/nicknames to do something ….. I read Dexter Issac’s book a few years ago and he said after bigge said that on the radio Jimmy henchman called him to do a job but he was busy so Jimmy said it didn’t matter …. That’s before the shooting so basically Dexter is insulting Jimmy henchman either did it himself or got some goon to do the trailer shooting ….

Right because black men are just mindless violent animals whose buttons can easily be controlled by “the media”. Nah. What really happened is that hip hop “evolved” to where criminal types started becoming part of the music and brought their mentalities with it. There had been rap beefs before but they stayed on wax. All the East vs West stuff happened when rappers were trying to out gangsta each other when that hadn’t previously been a dominant part of the genre. Blaming it on the media is deflection.

Criminals been in the game since it's inception.

There is a difference between there being a criminal element in certain situations behind the scenes and the artists, producers, their entourages etc having ties. And also extolling that lifestyle on wax. Melle Melle spoke on it and I know the days before gangsta rap/crime rhyme took over the industry.

Hell music in general has always had some criminal element somewhere. Difference is it didn’t typically spill over into the artists including hip hop until the rise of crime rhyme.

Rakim had killer Ben on his album cover

JmJ was still in the streets

There was a whole bunch of street nikkas in the game back then, they just did not want to be famous because it could of led to fed time.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I was there too and the artists instigated this more than anybody....Media just was doing their jobs...wasn't no twitter and IG back then, so they were just covering shyt as it went down.
Bullshyt.. There isn't a single rapper who really believed it was a East Coast/West Coast beef. Any rapper out was moving on both coasts, and the south, linking up with other rappers from out of town, doing songs, shows, hanging out and being friends.

That was purely the media hyping up what was real beef between Bad boy and Death Row.
