Been listening to Biggie since 94. Wasn't until about 4 years ago when I really REALLY realized how nice he was.

East Side!
Post some early shyne tracks I wanna hear

storytelling:

His The Truth (advance of the his debut) used to be on YouTube but you can probably google it to find the whole thing, that’s where these tracks are from. He was still unpolished but I could see his potential on this project

Commanding voice & mic presence. Flow and pace was insane for a guy his size..... he was a natural mayne :wow:
That’s the craziest part about it. He was an obese brother who smoked, but somehow had superb breath control (n/h) and could change his flow and rhyme scheme up with ease.

he’s one of the few rappers where his reading his lyrics, it legit comes off as true poetry.

Sad thing is I don’t think any of these new era rappers even know half these songs

You know what NY nikkaz are a bunch of hating ass crab in the bucket ass nikkaz the hate Biggie got from NY rap nikkaz is disgusting and you have to feel sorry for Biggie. West Coast Gangsta Rap damned near wipe NY hip hop off the map, from Record Sales, Radio and video play, mainstream media coverage, mainstream magazine coverage, articles, stories, influence of the culture, West Coast Culture of dress code, slang was everywhere, Iconic album's, West Coast Gangsta Movie's, West Coast Movie Soundtracks, The Bay and L.A. had California the new hip hop Mecca

And the only life line that kept NY on life support was their hip hop magazines, radio and media

And here come Biggie Smalls and dropped Ready To Die which was influenced by Death Row sound and Biggie with the King Tee Flow which the album was a cardiac electrical shock to heart of NY Hip Hop and revive them and took them off the breathing tubes. That album was a Monster, Hip Hop started looking towards NY again and gave it respectability.

Even The Source Golden Boy Nas when he dropped Illmatic couldn't do what Biggie and Ready to Die done

And what the fukk NY done, they shytted on him. Biggie had to fight against Wu Tang, The Boot Camp Clique, Jeru, Nas and a whole lot dusty ass NY nikkaz all because he was successful, he dropped a classic album, classic remixes and he broke through The West Coast which those other nikkas couldn't, he broke through the South, The Mid West, was in main steam magazines, broke through markets and The mainstream radio all over the region

You NY nikkaz should be ashamed of yourselves:scust:

Biggie Smalls was hurt as fukk after carrying NY on his back and resurrecting them from the dead and they shytting on him:picard:

West Coast would never turn their back on their own
