Yeah Aaliyah was “around” the bad boy camp at the time with Missy during those source awards years since one in a million was being worked on in 95 and age ain’t nuthin but a number was being worked on in 93 so Tim def would’ve been a known person to eventually work with. Just got his life cut short months before it would’ve taken place. So sad.

No he didn't :stopitslime:
DeVante used his drum pattern that's all
Timbaland was & will always be bitter towards DeVante for the way he treated him during his come up.
Everybody associated with Death Row all said DeVante produced that record
Yeah but recently tho his name (spelled differently) has started receiving credits on a few tracks. On Tidal you can look at the producer credits m and his name pops up a few times on certain tracks with DeVante and few other producers now that doesn't mean he had a large involvement in creating the beat but obviously, he was involved to some extent.

Did Biggie (or Puff) ever talk about possibly working with Timbaland?

That Ginuwine album dropped in Fall '96, so Big was still around. He obviously had to be familiar with Tim's work - even if it was just "Pony".

I wonder if Big would've f*cked with Tim's beats. How Big would've sounded on a Tim beat. That would've been wild.

it would’ve eventually happened .... Missy Elliot was already affiliated with puff - bad boy

Check out this video to see the collaboration between da camps .... one of the most underrated classic songs EVER

The Junior Mafia record was tight plus she was in the "One More Chance" video. It was bound to happen.

Here's Aaliyah doing the hook and adlibs on the original "Queen B!tch":

Oh wow, so that's why Kim sings "Duhhhhh duh duhhhh...." before her 2nd verse on the album version. Never knew there was a clean version.
