Bump on this thread. Any recommendations for a good bike? I'm a bigger breh, ~6'0 over 200 lbs.

I wrecked my car and I'll need something to move around on the weekends when the public transport in DC runs at a slower schedule.

Also, wouldn't mind using my bike to explore DC more often.

Just did my first 20 mile ride after getting a bike in January. The bike paths were hella packed over the weekend because we finally got some good weather.

Moving forward, I feel like my rides are going to be less relaxing and more weaving in and out of pedestrians. I prefer the relaxing rides but I do like the feeling of nipping in and out of traffic in a different way. I might start biking earlier or later in the day when things are less congested.

We byke. Been doing about 10-30 miles 4 or 5 times a week depending on how much time I have.

I moved house and there is alot of cycling enthusiasts down here which has been cool.
