Dude is just old now. He cant get full control at 72. He isn't a long term solution for teams. It’s a wrap for him. He can’t get past the idea of having full control and he, quite frankly, doesn’t deserve that. He can’t draft offense and he hasn’t demonstrated the ability to build a strong offensive coaching staff that doesn’t involve McDaniels. If he doesn’t land the Seattle or Washington jobs then it’s game over. If he’s out for a year then I don’t see why anyone would want him when the next coaching cycle comes around.
