Simply because they faced him, beat him, and aren't enamored by the man. They are unimpressed and were putting in work when he was in his physical prime.

Why would they be memerizsd by a man they made bow down 3 straight playoffs while winning rings especially if he gives NONE OF THEM credit. Especially isiah.

ESPN had a good 30 for 30 on how Jordan took the Pistons' souls. Jordan yanked their guts out and stuffed them in his pockets. All those old Pistons guys can do is walk around bitter now.

Bron will ultimately be viewed as the better when all is set and done with his career.

He said he more versatile and Jordan couldn't take this team to the Finals.:sas1: Ill go ahead and let yall steam as we hear more basketball people come out and say LeBron is better:sas2:
and Bill would be an idiot by saying such things. now aside from the obvious..what other player wouldnt want to play with a guy who loves to pass but is also a deadly scorer which means you mr role guy will be WIDE OPEN? that goes without saying.prime kobe/mike are better than LBJ. but i'll take LBJ as my teammate over them if i want to get more touches. now if i want to win more often in any era no matter how stiff the comp may be in the toughest conference(not always the weak east). then give me kobe or mike.

but if i just wanna have fun outchea while i also win a ring or two. its LBJ all day.

but he just said mike couldnt do those other things? Do you need me to pull up the stats?

What did kobe due vs boston when his shot wasnt falling? Out rebounded everyone on both teams. thats all he did. you know. do what ya gotta do to win the game. you know... what winners do.

Mike has done the same. mike has averaged a very high number of assists because they had no point forward/nor a pg at the time that was reliable. so he did it. dont be confused by what guys dont do everyday by what they cant do if need be.
i've seen mike grab 15 boards when he needed to. i've seen kobe dish out 10 assists when he needed to.

the idea that LBJ is some triple threat that these guys are not is a fallacy. LBJ is bigger, he's the size of a Power forward, he better grab 10 boards per. thats not the job of a 6'6 guard.

The Set
Joe Dumars' lockup D against Jordan. Laimbeer eating that ether too.

They couldn't stop him defensively so they resorted to goon tactics later on.

:camby:

Neither one of those were playoff games which is a different animal altogether. Jordan getting 60 pts. out of 2 games and your team winning by an average of 3 means nothing. Bron would make his teammates better and it would most likely be a blowout win.

In 1991 Rick Mahorn, Vinnie Johnson, James Edwards and John Long were no longer on the roster. the Pistons were beat by Jordan but they were also in a clear state of decline.

this is true. now on the flip side what john salley has said about jordan is also true as well. about him being beatable back then because you could cut off his right hand with solid defense and dare him to shoot and he would lose. he came back better , lost again to them, and came back even better the next time and beat them. but even though he was better. the pistons were aging out as well. so we will never know if he could've beat a prime pistons team even as all world mike. i just think lamb is an idiot.

The thing is, the blueprint to beat LeBron exists. Ask the Spurs. Mike survived getting beat up by probably the dirtiest team in league history and Lambier says LeBron couldn't be beat up. For starters, I don't believe that.

Then you have to wonder if the same startegy that beat LeBron's heat in the finals could beat Jordan's Bulls.
Food for thought.

The pistons Beat the Bulls 3 TIMES in a row.

Y'all be killing me acting like losing in the second round is somehow better than losing in the finals :heh:

lebron never got love like that from the refs ever
:what: nikka u lost ya mind. Lebron gets MAD love from the refs even though his floppin ass is one of the biggest and strongest nikkas on the court every game.

Cruisin’
MJ averaged 32/8/8 in '89

That's closer to averaging a triple double than Lebron has ever gotten for a full season

Lebron's playoff numbers though.....:wow:
I agree. I posted those numbers in another thread, they went unnoticed. For some reason the "MJ was only a scorer" argument is persistent, not only in these MJ vs LBJ threads, but apparently in Bill Lambieers world. The numbers say different.....

Right Jordan kept upgrading on some terminator shyt, the NBA has the Pistons to thank for creating the GOAT

Perfect correlation is Pistons = Galactus , Jordan = Silver Surfer
