shyt, missed your post before I posted.

Crazy, just crazy, it is a cult down in Happy Valley.
@SprinceC I wanna say lmao cuz that's how I really feel at those idiots in the comments, but that's just how a lot of our 50-plus year old alums feel. It's the same at a lot of schools, but when you have the same coach for literally generations, people feel very strongly about dude (JoePa).

Nobody liked the O'Brien hire, including myself and dad, a sworn PSU loyalist and alum. It turned out beyond great.

The next hire will turn out fine as long as they don't feel pressured to hire a so-called "Paterno disciple" to appease the 20 percent of alums of VOCAL alum.

James Franklin FTW, if possible.

After reading this, good for him.

I've got a lot of love for JoePa (does this put me in a position for y'all to shyt on me, you still going on about this bullshyt?), but there is like 5 percent of alums who are incredibly vocal on social media about JoePa being innocent and shyt. OK, whatever.

Stick up for JoePa and do it at your own discretion. But don't discourage our current savior in doing so.

That five percent is thinking they're furthering the University, but they're legit ruining the program. Fukkboys :pacspit:

Franklin has to be the number 1 target right?
1. James Franklin
2. Mike Munchak (if possible)
3. Greg Schiano
4. Al Golden
5. Larry Johnson

One of those five will be the next coach. From what I've been reading, it's looking to be in that order, but I'd personally bump Larry Johnson to No. 3 and take Golden/Schiano off the board completely.

Something against Schiano. And nothing against Golden, I just don't want him/don't think he's fit here.

He's a fukking liar :deadrose:

"Today we receive a very harsh penalty from the NCAA and as head coach of the Nittany Lions football program, I will do everything in my power to not only comply, but help guide the University forward to become a national leader in ethics, compliance and operational excellence. I knew when I accepted the position that there would be tough times ahead. But I am committed for the long term to Penn State and our student athletes.

I was then and I remain convinced that our student athletes are the best in the country. I could not be more proud to lead this team and these courageous and humble young men into the upcoming 2012 season. Together we are committed to building a better athletic program and university".

They need to sign coaches to 2 year deals. Or if they break their contract they cant sign with another team for a year.

Yup. He is similar to Chip in that way. They will both the most talent out of that player. No telling how good Teddy can become with O'Brien developing him. The Texans already have Owen Daniels. So O'Brien will have the pieces for his young QB.
What qb's has he developed in the past?

This is really a move that likely says the Texans will draft a QB and more so that the Texans will draft Bridgewater. Smart, pinpoint accuracy, pocket mobility. Teddy is a top tier pocket passer prospect and the best pocket passer in this draft. He is gonna do some great things with Bridgewater.
