Ratings talk has never been limited to just the NBA, but at the same time there’s a very clear racial undertone when it comes to the NBA from certain people that can’t be denied

Which is why I can't possibly believe posters on this so-called pro-Black msgboard would be so naive to use TV ratings against the league in the first place. The most militant cats on this board were gleefully running about as ratings were being weaponized to tear down the NBA. We saw a not too dissimilar situation when Kyrie was posting Right-wing conspiracy theories, they too, were coming to the defense of him, even defending what he was promoting.

You'd think they would've learned their lesson by now that if they're standing in a corner with the likes of Clay Travis, Jordan Peterson, Jason Whitlock, Alex Jonex and Candace Owens that they're fighting on the wrong side.

I'll be glad when all this discourse about the ratings is over, but I'm certainly not looking forward to the next wave of disinformation that's coming.

It's ridiculous to say the NBA has "lost 75% of their viewership" when cable TV has gone from being in over 100 million homes to now under 60 million homes, that's the first thing that has to be taken into account during ANY ratings discussion. If you aren't discussing that aspect then you are arguing in bad faith.

Also, NBA is viewed through social media, YouTube highlight accounts, TikTok accounts, illegal streams, etc.. all shyt that was not available in 1996 or whatever fukking year he's talking about.
