I just watched the game on DVR, here's some more gems from last night...
"P.J. Tucker, I've noticed he seems content with shooting the ball."
"Overdribbling by Isaiah Thomas here (Thomas takes a long contested two point shot and airballs it) No, no, that can't be the case. That shot would be a bottom ten performance in the history of Sacramento basketball." You could almost see him putting his hand over his head in frustration.
"If you ever think you're too small to make a difference, you've never spent the night in bed with a mosquito, or you've never watched Isaiah Thomas play basketball."
Bill: Where's the sleep trained whistle?
Playbyplay: That's only at home, you can bring one with you on the road next time.
B: They don't let me through security with a whistle. I'm surprised they let me through security at all.
Playbyplay: No comment.
B: None needed. Self evident.
B: As a fan, as an alumni, as a broadcaster, as a proud member of this NBA family for 39 years now, I'd like to see more out of Michael Beasley.
Playbyplay: Well, that's up to him isn't it?
B: Absolutely. It's up to all of us.
"Chuck Hayes is like a ballerina. The way he floats around the court, and his ability to change direction in midair... defying the laws of physics and gravity... what would Newton and Gallileo say?"
LOL @ them having a conversation about Bill forgetting about Luke's birthday.
