500000 torrents the first day. Probably around 2-3 million downloaded it in the whole week including zippyshare downloads, a lot of others heard it on TIDAL, seems like a reasonable number

This is what I believe too Ziggiy. This is all one big Marketing blitz. It was not only to relauch Tidal but to also make Ye the center of attention. I also think his "Twitter Saga" has been apart of this blitz. Kanye is making his money big time and then some. Your right, EVERYONE is taking about Ye. Media, social media. Everyone got something to say and everyone got an opinon. Not to mention all the Kardasian media press always surrounding him along with Taylor Swift drama. Jay Z and Tidal will most likely compile all the streaming numbers and I'm sure Ye will have major numbers there.
He will still go Plaitnum and I don't believe there won't be a physcial. I just think the rights will be excuslively to Jay Z and Tidal and you will only be able to buy it on that site. Jay is shutting the game down with this. I think it's payback for how he was treated during Tidal's launch. Beyonce will do the same with her album and I expect though nothing is cofirmed that Jay Z could drop a surprise album this Summer to celeberate the 20th Anniversary of "Reasonable Doubt" which will also be Exclusivesly on Tidal. Jay and Ye are playing Chess and re-writing the rules as far as releases and streaming.

This is what i dont understand. Tidal is just 9.99 per month. We are talkin almost the price of one meal at McDonald's. I use it more than netflix. At work. In the car. I have access to all the music i want when i want. No more looking for links when new albums drop ( was just listening to that new yo gotti and new dolph in whip the day they came out), no worrying about downloading and song quality or nothing.
Plus they got other media content like the money and violence show, dope live concerts etc.. just heard TI doing a live stream Monday for something too. For 9.99 Tidal is well worth it. Messing with torrents and transferring files and all that is a waste of time and there is no point to promote stealing music when there is a reasonable alternative.
Eh I read it. That reviewer is buying into the "Kanye as a crazy artist" perception, which my review ultimately rejects. But again, all reviews are subject to the OPINION of the writer, so very rarely will be upset at any reviewers interpretation unless it's somebody like Pitchfork. fukk pitchfork

How? I have to download tidal create an account and remember to cancel it or I can go to iTunes, buy this album with my existing account and have it on my phone. Why would I start another streaming account when between legit purchases on iTunes and my paid streaming account on Spotify I have my bases covered (aside from datpiff, etc mix tapes)? shyt has nothing to do with being a crab, it's 2016, people are on the platforms they're on, they shouldn't feel obligated to switch or fire up another platform to hear an artist's music, this just leads to bootlegging.lol, the process for listening to the album on Tidal takes less effort than on iTunes. Well If you like spotify then keep it. If there are only 2 - 3 tidal exclusives you really like per year then guess what.. you can buy them in the tidal store on their website and download in flac quality. You do not need to sign up for tidals streaming service to buy albums from their store so you got no excuse. Tidal store works just like amazon or itunes or any other mp3 download store. No excuse breh
