Apparently all your bases are not covered if tidal has some exclusives you want... if you can make legit purchases on itunes you can do it on tidal as well

I have never heard of the tidal store until this post, that's tidal's weak ass marketing. Secondly, that still requires me putting it on a PC then transfering it to my phone, more steps than if the album was released everywhere and I could cop it from iTunes (I'm on an iPhone).

Lastly, as stated in my previous post, my beef goes beyond the tidal thing...as I don't really care there, Apple and tidal are gonna play the exclusive card for the foreseeable future...it's the whole rollout from ye, there's still no complete finished album, why would I buy this WIP?

If kanye released TLOP the night of the the yeezy season 3 show there is no doubt it would have sold a lot of copies.

It was the number 1 event in the world at that time and he had a lot of people credit card in hand by their laptops ready to buy the album.

Not sure what deal jay gave kanye or maybe kanye REALLY wanted to help out his friend or something but its obvious kanye doesn't care about album sales.

The level of publicity / notoriety he has gotten over the past two weeks is worth far more than $3.6 million. He couldn't pay for every media outlet including serious news outlets to be reporting on him every night as they have been doing. He will recoup in sales on his fashion brand, whatever he's making on Tidal and in the concerts etc.

All these coulda woulda article about the new way to get paid, is corny. The old way was rigged, and only a few actually ate, so let it go. I'm sure it still is corrupt, but at least the artist is eating more. Plus, there are more of these artists. Not just a few like the old days. When the money is as large as this everything is variable and short term losses can be long term cash cows, and vice versa and both at the same time.

We don't know the terms of all his deals. I believe that this is all a part of a plan and not just cuz he's 'off his lexapro'. Whether it works we shall see.

What I'm still about is the kayfabe performance from the media.
