And a lot of posters on here approach these lists with "he produced some of my favorite songs" mentality, when there's a lot more to being a GOAT. And yes, "recency" plays a part of time. "All time" also includes the present, does it not? It's a look at a producers body of work and how it impacted, influenced, shaped and reshaped the sound of the genre. Their work should be cross-generational meaning it spans generations to where people both young and old know the work even if they don't know name. T-Mix and Legendary Traxter have produced a lot of songs that I love, but I don't expect to see those names on a Top 25 list because they are wildly underrated and rarely are mentioned in these kinds of discussions even though they produced legendary songs (no pun).
