This is one of things where there's going to be different viewpoints based on age, experiences, or even religious beliefs.
In this scenario, we are talking about a grown man in his 40s. He already made his money, already had his kids (and even a grandkid), so there's not really any incentive for him to get married. When you have already accomplished a lot of major LIFE milestones (career success, kids) its very hard to justify such a life changing decision.
Marriage is a business, and one of those decisions that has to make sense IMO.
