General consensus has been he's out after this year. If he gets hurt Buffalo is on the hook for the money owed next year.
This is interesting, most reports say Rex was not whaleys decision. He's leading the coaching search and on the hot seat, the next HC job could make or break him if he does get a pass this year.
The NFL is an absolute joke. So instead of getting Tyrod a chance next year they are gonna kick him to the curb as well.
shyt is also a money move cause Tyrod contract is big and they can have cardale start so then groom a rookie on a cheap contract as well.

This or if EJ wants he signs a cheap deal and becomes the starter next year. Manuel has by far been seen as Doug's biggest failure, always got the feeling from him speaking that it's tough for him to admit it and wants to prove to everyone he was right.
A lot of reports had him and Marrone at odds when Ortin was starting, never really felt he was fully behind Tyrod either, even with bringing him in and the extension.

He should've took the Chicago job when it was open instead of trying to stick it to the Jets and "try to compete" with
