Probably because a lot of them never been to a arcade...too young.

Double Dragon in the arcade version was a 1000x better then the Nes port.

A lot of people still love that OG NES port of DD. Obviously, they fukked up with no co-op but it was still an enjoyable game.

I think DD II on the NES was superior to the arcade version though. DD II Arcade was almost an exact carbon copy of the first game.

DD1 arcade was better than NES as was most arcade games
DD2 tho was better than the arcade version because it was different, didn't cost you quarters, and had replay value
They also added a versus mode which was new territory back in those games.. Karate Champ was about all there was

Took a young breh forever to do a hadouken/hurricane kick..
People were fukking their wrists up playing, that's why it didn't gain as much traction until the goat SF2...
Always loved DD just never beat them..
