I was barely interested in it in the first place since I'm not a bioware fan. You're to easily Influenced.
What were the odds you were going to use the stock female character and not create your own.
Didn't see anything in those gifs that didn't come from the very beginning of the game anyway.
Hopefully mass effect is dead just to show these nerds overexxagerating criticism has consequeces
I really don't understand what these big studios are thinking continuing to take big IPS with and handing them off to brand new studios for their very first game.Damn shame if this is true but honestly I can't say I care.
I got "Andromeda"....it's ok. But if this is the best they have to offer for the "Mass Effect" franchise then yeah....it needs a break.

The gameplay is excellent. A few missions in the story is engaging.I was barely interested in it in the first place since I'm not a bioware fan.
The minute those gifs came out and the reviews were way below the rest of the series I immediately chalked it up to a bargain bin black Friday purchase.
That stuff hurt the sales tremendously.
The game got a permanent price drop of over 40% in Canada in less than a month. That tells you everything you need to know.

WB did it with batman arkham origins,ea did it with this, take 2 did it with mafia 3.
These newly formed studios should be given their own IP or at best co-developed with a veteran studio helping.
It's just a recipe for disaster. There's very very few studios that can nail it there first try. I can't even think of any off top. It's usually the 2nd or 3rd game where a studio finds their groove.
And the thing with retro is,nintendo had a huge hand in that. The only one off the top of my head was Retro with "Metroid Prime".
I'm guessing other people assume the loyalty of the fan base will insure the game is a success no matter who develops it....and that's never the case.

As soon I see it for $20 I'm copping. The gameplay is excellent. A few missions in the story is engaging.
The amount of side quests can hurt the game because the stories related to side missions aren't all that interesting but the gameplay is still a great backbone for this game. The main missions, loyalty missions, vault missions and some side quests are fun. I feel the lack of cynicism in quests hurts the game for gamers who've become accustomed to witcher but the gameplay in this makes witcher 3 look like Mario 1.
If you consider this a bargain bin game then at least cop on a fire sale because the exxagerated 4/10's and calling the game trash are unwarranted. 7.9 at worst.
Mac walters, the cowriter of the first 2 mass effects and the primary writer of part 3, probably should have threw a bag of money at the dude he cowrote the first 2 games with.
Feeling insecure about the reception of part 3 he became director, and left the writing in the hands of 3 no names, who basically created a safe game.

The credentials of ol boy who cowrote the first 2 mass effects is pretty thorough.
Yea as a writer dude is light but he probably Would have scored better then these 3 jokers who wrote andromeda# Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic..
Yea this dude not being there is probably why 3 had such a shyt ending.
the problem with 3 goes all the way back to the beginning of mass effect. Bioware planned to make a trilogy but never wrote a story for all three games. It's why ME2 doesn't have a story that follows ME1, and why ME1 had the most sensible plot.# Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic..
