The South destroyed hip hop... no longer was about the artistry when they took it over :manny:
If the east was as great as they thought they were, why didn't they keep making good music? :jbhmm:

Outside of Eightball n MJG, Scarface, Outkast... the South has been generally a virus to hip hop
Nah chill, the South was decent. The main problem is ATLANTA. Houston, Memphis, Miami, and New Orleans had some solid acts. Atl came in with that bullshyt crunk and snap crackle pop music and it went downhill from there

Brooklyn keeps on taking it.
The victim mentality continues.

NY and the east coast should never listen to this foolery cause if the south had a hip hop lengend show right now they would make sure itโ€™s only southern dudes on that stage.

Birdman should take his lazy ass to ATL and make his own show.

But he wonโ€™t cause looking for attention is easier.

Canโ€™t wait for the day one of these NY dudes gets the courage to call out these victims

Cash money didnโ€™t get major notoriety until 99.

Made,Jay,Ja Rule, and DMX were dropping multi platinum albums. What exactly did they keep from dying?

Post doesn't even make sense. Did Juvenile not drop a multi-platinum in 1998? Prior to 1998, nobody you named had a multi-platinum album. Ja didn't have a multi-platinum album until 2000 with Rule 3:36.

Oh so it was about the artistry when Puffโ€™s non rapping ass was jacking beats wholesale. Jay, Nas, shyt even a nikka like Mic Geronimo ended up switching up.

Or what about after The Chronic rappers in LA just imitating Dre and Snoop with second rate G Funk. And shytty and violent content while getting lazy on the mic.

The South is nothing but a scapegoat
