It is a difference they puck up on. You'd have to be a dishonest piece of shyt to think otherwise. There is a shared cultural history, one that isn't pretty, that they don't have to deal with when dealing with Africans.
This isn't to say they won't direct racism towards Africans. You just can't act as though it is all equal.
