People are hiring young black men. No one is hiring criminals.

Stupid fukk? Who's the one with the criminal record crying about not getting a job? Not I...yet you're calling me stupid. Sounds like you should be speaking to yourself...

real men dont call another man boss.

Everyone has it rough, ask ya great grandparents who grew up in the Depression or in the 60s pre Civil Rights. Heroin in the 70s and Crack in the 80s did a number to families. Regan didn't help. Technology allows you to create jobs instead of slaving for a company getting 30% of your worth with 3 weeks vacation. People born in the 90s feel entitled. Only group I know that feel they need to make 50K plus right out of school with no real world experience...takes two years to learn any job and imagine a newbie. I worked two jobs before and volunteered it didn't kill me. My younger sibling refuses to work fulltime as it might intrude on nights and weekends. :usure:If the old way doesn't work for you create something new. And you do not need a college degree to be successful, it allows access but not the end game. I know people with MBAs working entry level jobs for 20 years. Electricians are always in demand and paid well, especially if you can get work with contractors. Oil and Gas is always booming, work on rigs in Alaska and Texas paying 100K with benefits. God forbid in bruhs break nail :hamster:

I miss the 90s honestly...I get teary eyed thinking about them.

I was a teenager back then...it's crazy to see things that were just cool at the time become LEGENDARY now..

Biggie
Pac
Movies like Pulp Fiction
Shows like Fresh Prince, Martin, etc...

like we were young back then and took all that stuff for granted. Especially people not having cellphones and internet everywhere.
This post almost brought me to tears :mjcry:

Technology has also eliminated jobs. Something as simple as a cashier job is being replaced by self checkout. A lot of steel mills and factories have shut down or downsized. Your right about electricians but technology is eventually gonna make it so we will need less of them too. We could also talk about how so many women in the work force has fukked up things too but I wont go there

Why do yall get 90s babies confused with 2000s babies?

I didnt have high speed internet until high school and got my first cell phone around the same time. Most people I grew up with didnt even have a computer until the last few years.
thats true, most of us really grew up with straight up dial -up internet...

how old are y'all we had fast internet when I was real young (early 2000's) and this is was in a town with like 7,000 people in it
on the topic, yes middle aged/older adults completely exaggeration on the 2000's being a coasting period if you were young is straight comical

Yeah man , I can vouch for that 100% coming up in NYC in the 90s . For as long as I was in the school system I was always fighting and 70% of the time I didn't antagonize it . Back then it was mandatory for you to know how to fight or else you were perceived as a bytch or p*ssy and nikkas wouldnt respect you at all . In alot of ways I feel like I was robbed of my childhood because of the environment I was brought up in . Back then their was no age bracket when it came to just lounging in the hood I would be like 9 years old with 2 of my other 9 year old friends and we would be lounging with 15-16 like it was nothing when they were manipulating us expose us to stuff we werent ready for . The first time a gun was put in my hands was at 11 years old from my friend who was 15 and by time I was 13 I was already selling crack , involved in gangs , robbing nikkas on trains etc . Sometimes I dwell on my upbrings and I'm grateful that I'm prevailed and made it out of my environment because 75% of the people I grew up with are either 6 feet deep under or doing jersey numbers . 90's babies are kind of lucky though even though violence is still relevant it isnt at the magnitude it was back then at all .
I came up mostly during the mid to late 90's... was only like 11 or 12 during the early 90's, but let me tell you this.......

I had my first knife pulled on me in the 4th grade......held my first crack rock in the 7th grade...........had a gun pulled on my in the 8th grade.

sold my soul a few years later.
stuff like this still happens today :what:
