Black Sinatra
Raised Glass to the Squandered Potentials..
Have any of you, perhaps on another site, ever had a discussion with a white audience concerning this?
I have and a cac with some knowledge will say the most vile things to you.
I have been at this shyt for a over a decade now. There is not a slur, slander, lie, misquote, and outright historical manipulation that I havn't heard. My suggestion is to not argue with biased people. This includes sheepishly agreeing with biased people of our own color. Scholarship is a very important aspect to KOS, and we have actual men/women that dedicate their lives to earning the "peer/collective aggregated certifications to be anthropologists/historians etc. While I have not been formerly educated by institution for 10+ years, I am very interactive and a fixture on online academic libraries and forums with studied individuals. We all agree that the 50 meter target is to understand the lie or untrusted version that is told; it is easily critiqued and disassembled. The second step is to legitimately learn of the closer realities of these places and timelines and even people "As we often paint POC/African family as simply black" this is disrespectful. This is also the tactic of the cac. Don't be the cac brehs. So when I see guys prop up poorly put together scholarship and actually attempt to debate a vile "but usually prepared historically" cac, or even worse push it on black folks as definitive truth; I shake my head. Its deflating to see black people kind of wake up and bush the cac bible story only to then lay into a hebrew interpretation; while ignoring that as a people we were building a couple thousand years before any of the big 3 religious theories came on the scene. Nikkas taking baby steps backwards through time, and baby steps in modern cultural evolution towards the future. We moving too slow.
