In other words, if you go to hang out with someone, make sure you have something to do while you're there. So, if you go to someone's house, fix a car, paint a wall, plan something, attend a meeting, or do something constructive with them- just don't go simply to hang out. Hanging out often leads to conflict. Someone says something that triggers a response, and suddenly-turmoil. How many more of us would be alive today if we had listened to this advice?
