The title is factual as far as what we know. I’ll update it if for example the family agrees with the reports that it seems self inflicted.

Given this is a black male, this is a town that is supposedly only 10 miles away from where Emmitt Till was lynched, given he either committed suicide or killed in an odd way that resembles how black people were routinely lynched, I don’t think a small town Mississippi police deputy and coroner claiming it’s suicide only a day or two after it happening is enough to add that as definitive information.

Most people are going to hang themselves at home instead of hanging themselves to a tree in public view. Also extra suspicious when it’s a black male.

If there is an update that seems more definitive that comes out feel free to let me know if I don’t see it. If so, I’ll update the title.
