I don’t understand you black nikkanerds that’s super into this shyt. Like, I watch anime here and there, but to those of you that’s super immersed in this shyt, why? That culture is racist as hell and makes it clear you aren’t welcomed.

Most black anime nerds are usually c00ns too.

RIP babygirl

So sad.

Parents have to be real with their kids about racism. Young ppl gotta be damn near militant when they are young so they can sniff out even the slightest hint of racism in school/society.

I had friends in like 7th-9th grade who were calling out our fukking teachers to their faces and damn near lecturing them about why their word usage was offensive :deadrose:

But their parents prepared them to combat WS from young.

Black children have to be mentally resilient because this is what is waiting for them if white/others are able to say what they really want to say.

Sad af.

Ugh

This generation 25 and below are not mentally or emotionally tough as a group. IT's not all the parents fault. The culture helps to foster weak kids. They can't take alot of things poeple older than them used to take, including racial attacks. They shouldn't have to deal with it but they need a solution.

Its many Black cosplayers out there that do not die by suicide. I think she more likely than not had a lot of other things going on and the negative comments and inbox spamming did not help. If nothing else was going on, she would have just quit doing cosplays and gone offline like many others who face that treatment do.

Universal healthcare needs to exist in this country. I would not be surprised at all to know she didnt have any health insurance and could not afford to see a therapist and pay for antidepressants.

:francis: RIP to ol girl…nothing is wrong with black people having an interest in cosplaying and anime culture. They’re free to participate in it like everyone else. Nerd culture and life in general can be racist af. That why it’s important for black parents to have their kids mentally prepared. To face whatever non blacks will throw at them. Shoutout to RDC for giving black nerds a safe place to express themselves.
