Thats what made me post what I posted. Their precious japanese people got a love affair with jazz. Even Haruki Marukami posts jazz play lists to read his books to. It's so deep theres a Miles Davis sample on the Tekken 4 opening cinematic song. You dont just put something so specific as that in there unless you got taste or are deliberately looking for it. A japanese rapper Awich is coming out with an album with specifically paying homage to Japan and New York together. Go listen to the OST's of those Persona games they all love. Also breakbeats and hip hop were pushed and used with anime to promote it on cartoon network/adult swim(located in ATL), not country, butt rock, or classic music.

Nerd culture and life in general can be racist af. That why it’s important for black parents to have their kids mentally prepared. To face whatever non blacks will throw at them. Its easy for me to criticize from a keyboard but black parents have got to instill black pride in their kids EARLY. I learned early that being black and dark is a gift and people will try and tell you different but always know that black is beautiful. I think it created a chip on my shoulder I carry to this day. I cant say 100% she would still be alive but if you have pride in being black, I think you are less likely to let these crackers dent your armor.
