The fact that she then had to go dig through her pictures and edit them to compare the cosplays really speaks to how "unbothered" she is. :skip:

Prime example of a dumb smart nikka like the rest of you bytch nikkas in here
People have been committing suicide for generations due to offline bullying
In this era, kids were practically raised off the internet
You just can’t turn it off and not see it
People will make memes of you out of spite
So even if this young lady as you so foolishly typed
Turned her device off
She would still come across this at conventions were nonblacks get very bold in speaking their minds about their displeasure on seeing black people cosplaying as their favorite character
Racism is deeply embedded in every facet of life and fandom for black people
From sports to videogames
You are constantly dealing with it even if you just TURN IT OFF
You geek nikkas are so out of touch with reality and type like crackers
You can’t tell me any different from the responses in here
This young lady took her life because of bullying and now you cornballs writing dissertations about people enjoying fiction and calling them weird and self haters
Ain’t no fukkin way
The biggest self haters I’ve ever seen in typed words reside on this website
Faux militant, fake intellectual dikk suckers if I’ve ever read something
RIP to this young lady

Agreed. There's a growing number of people I've seen that seem to think empathy is weakness. It's super corny. We're better as a society when we're able to lift those up that struggle to pick themselves up. Sure, there's a point to be made about having to be more resilient to life's challenges as you get older, especially when you're black and you enter certain spaces that are known to be a certain way. But still, that doesn't mean we just let fukkery unfold and not address it accordingly. Leaving stuff like that alone is exactly how you get bum ass adults being a scourge to everything they touch and people end up getting hurt.

And plenty of people are doing the absolute most for no reason. Even if someone is "weird", so? Does that mean they should be ostracized and bullied because they aren't engaging in the "correct" hobbies? There are so many black folks that are into anime and gaming, but because it's "nerd shyt", apparently civility goes out the window. :mjlol:

But this is why it's important to have black spaces, and why events Dream Con and Blerd Con are vital to have. People need to see things like this exist, because it's super easy to feel alone. Especially as a kid, although anime is way more mainstream now compared to when I was growing up. I've seen a ton of black cosplayers speaking out about this, which is a great thing to see.

First post to inform us of this tragedy, and of course its the typical victim blaming bullshyt
I hate threads like these cause yall blame and attack the black person for enjoying anime or nerdy interests instead of racist folks. We aint got shyt else to enjoy. We dont have black fantasy worlds to explore we dont have black scifi to enjoy we dont have that shyt. Yall nikkas stay judging and shytting on black folks for liking anything outside of the very small norm of shot black folks supposed to like. Foh
