I do about 20 conventions a year and see all kinds of cosplayers, white, black, Asian etc... I have always found them to be very cordial and entertaining people. (Maybe because I'm a vendor and they buy stuff from me ) And anime is anime. All groups should be able to enjoy it. If you think the culture is racist, and that you aren't welcome, then go out and create your own groups, like my niece did. Can't let someone else's actions dictate what you want and should get out of life.

You cant open up a Japanese video game or anime without hearing Black music. Theres jazz in almost every fukking japanese video game, the sonic games got jazz and New Jack Swing all over them. Rock is in them, City Pop is heavily Black influenced. The best anime's have a jazz OST.
