Nah. As an institution of higher learning you let higher thinking points go.
He wasnt offensive or profane but instead made legitimate points that many feel the same way about. Him basically getting canned for this is an example of what he's talking about. Instead of having a dicussion and using it to open a dialogue which is what is supposed to be happening on a college campus, especially one trying to show their movement towards diversity, they fire a brotha.
This looks bad for the University and doesnt help them shake their stigma that they've been trying to distance themselves from, it's going national and guess who's going to look bad?
