I’d like to know why black people are leaving both Chicago and Philly.

But I know crime is probably a big reason for it.

American history.

They are leaving for the same reason that immigrants that migrated to the USA move back to their original countries. Crime probably has nothing to do with it. Family, better weather and other stuff probably has more to do with it.

Yeah this list is off there's 4 cities in the Norfolk metro over 40% black.

The problem is it might not be growing at nearly the rate of other demographics. 2% over a decade might mean our brehs are getting lapped in growth. Be interesting to see what the whites/hispanic growth rate is.

This is in regard to "major cities" there are a lot of midsize and all small cities/counties are not listed above.

Example:

• Savannah GA is 54.7% African American
• Mobile AL is 36.1% African American

...but neither is listed. As noted above there are other small things to be taken account of but they skip my mind right now. That said, carry on

toronto is less then ten percent black with little middle class or upper class black neighborhoods
and its not even that safe anymore
