Yeah, but one true fallacy of TLOU was that all the black characters shown died and as far as known characters, Henry & his brother was nearly first to die. shyt, even Ellie's girlfriend was black and died.

this is true :to: But I at least wanna show love on the fact that they were realistic people and really added to the story.

True. And I know some may feel like considering the world, everyone was dying and shyt, but I'm saying, at close of story, Joel was still alive, Ellie, Tommy, his wife and other members of their lil faction, all white people. Meanwhile, absolutely every black person was dead at by roll credits. Marlene was almost looking to make it till the end, till Joel had to personally ensure that all the negroes were gone. Also, Imma ask this, as I didn't finish the DLC, but we all obviously know that Ellie's friend dies, but answer me this for anyone that did (and ya'll can put it in spoiler tags for those that don't wanna know). Did Ellie end up killing her friend? I ask cuz if that's the case, then not only do all the black folks get killed, but also by the characters you actually use (albeit not when in your control).

A monolith is a geological feature consisting of a single massive stone or rock, such as somemountains, or a single large piece of rock placed as, or within, a monument or building.

a large and impersonal political, corporate, or social structure regarded as intractably indivisible and uniform.

As it relates to this article, its when a developer assigns what they determine would be typical behavior or dialogue to a race of people, not understanding that its a stereotype because they aren't really familiar with that group of people.
Its basically saying if one black person does or says something then they all behave in the manner of that one person.

The only developer I've seen do black characters justice is Telltale. You'd think Ubisoft would be better at it since their games are developed by a team of diverse people.

:ohhh: i get it.....

*not spoiler tagging for a game this old*

Well Henry kills himself. And I knew Marlene was gonna die but I like the fact that we had a black female "villain" (TOLU's moral chart is ambiguous besides Henry/Sam who's totally good and David who's totally evil.) I still think your kinda hung up on the fact that they died. Just about everyone you meet in the game is dead by the games end besides Ellie, Joel and Tommy's enclave. Tess is the first to die, Sam/Henry dead, just about all the antagonists die. So I mean...its kinda :manny: imo. None of it felt like it was done on purpose.

It's never explained. The credits roll before she turns and Ellie realizes she can't be infected.

Henry/Sam wasn't totally good. Or at least not Henry, as he leaves you out for self (potentially to die) earlier before you join with him and within a fashion that he didn't have to.

Also, @ the bolded, that's EXACTLY would they would have us to think, when you really think about it breh. As I said, there's some white people still left alive. There's no black people tho.

I need these developers to improve on the hairstyle options and create a player features that they put in these games for blacks.

The way it is now is pathetic
:scust:

True. I don't think I've ever seen a black create-a-character mode have wavy hair as an option.
