This doesn’t make any sense because white boy did answer the door and shot Breh while he was in his car driving away after being told to go away :dwillhuh:

Keep using the White/Black angle to dap fish. Shameless

Anybody of any race knocking on your door at 2am asking for directions is going to be suspicious and unsafe

'He thought his life was over:' Family of DoorDash driver allegedly shot by homeowner speaks out

Some of the responses here tell me you guys need to be more educated on the case.

You should look at the video, I linked. It was a residential neighborhood (Chester NY) not some place in the boonies,
He wasn't lost, he just couldn't find the house for the order, asked a couple of houses, they said no.
He went to this guys house, and the guy said no get off my property, the door dasher guy does that and get shot in the back.

He had no right to pull a gun out and shot him. His life was not in danger.

He is an immigrant from Africa trying to make a buck.

wtf are you talking about? If somebody rings my Ring camera at 2 am I’m telling them to go away through the damn camera. I’m not going to poke my head out and proceed to fire shots at their car as they’re leaving. You talking about common sense but somehow miss the part that shooting at someone who is not a threat to you is highly illegal Breh. Some of ya’ll shouldn’t own guns.

Its one of those situations where I get both arguments, cause at the end of the day, the driver did nothing wrong, at the sametime after the Jonathan Ferrell incident, I realize you gotta be prepared at all times as a black man doing any kind of travels especially around areas like that.

Cause if dude had died, then the shooter wouldve gotten away with it, cause itll be his word and his wife's tampering with the ring cam footage, vs a deadmans.

*EDIT Certain high profile shooting cases and self defense laws have embolden stupidity like this.

Dude in the OP let his battery die at 2am, and ya'll are in here defending him
You just found that info out but you were arguing in bad faith prior to that. Some areas are fukked when it comes to GPS and these areas sometimes have houses where you can't find the house number at night. This isn't gonna be made easier with drone deliveries in the near future since they will run into the same issues.

Cool. Everyone does not think like you. If you had common sense, you would know that. Putting yourself in a precarious situation "Hoping a situation will go as planned" and everyone will act like a reasonable person is a sign of 0 street smarts

The fact that you don't know the difference between a a precarious situation and a nonprecious one is alarming

I saw the video and gotta say, saying it was residential is doing a lot of lifting. There is well lit residential, and there is "trees so tall you can't see the moon" residential. This place was the latter. I agree with everything else, but dude WAS lost if he couldn't find the right house. I said it in my other post I have had times like this in wacky ass places where my GPS says the place is here. The addresses match the pattern of the one I am looking for, but I keep finding a digit off no matter where I look. Make it so dark that you have to walk up to places to know for sure and you have a recipe for "lost but Seeking" like Azusa.

:mjlol: Some of you bruhs are wildin. Yeah I agree that most people would/should be cautious. At a stranger knocking on their door especially at 2am. That doesn’t mean you should instantly open the door and start dumping. Especially if the person is leaving.
