She went to Texas A&M for chemical engineering, had three internships with top oil companies, and is now working as a petroleum engineer at Cheveron. She's a minority within a minority and now she's sittin on high society. How can we inspire others to follow this kind of excellence?

One thing she highlights in her video is the fact that her father was a petroleum engineer so she had a lot of guidance for the right path in life. I think this is key. We as a black community need more role models to guide the future generation. What do you think?

See I finally figured out the issue with @bigDeeOT is he's a child. I'd guess no older than 20. Boy was fed that willie lynch narrative at a young age and it became gospel to him. We gonna break that cycle with him and the rest of the c00ns. Teach them what the effects socioeconomic conditions and reinforced negative stereotypes have on a people.

But anyway to answer the question one of the issues facing poor black communities is the lack of positive role models. Most times when one of our people become successful the goal is to move out the hood and never come back. It becomes a war of attrition at that point.

But see soldiers like myself don't think like that. Our fight is the winning of hearts and minds:takedat:. Taking part in organizations that teach the kids their true history. Showing them what successful people do and the path to get there. Tutoring kids and participating in summer programs to keep them engaged. Just two weeks ago I had a young soldier express a desire to go to college and follow my career path. Us-1 you-0. fukk words, be about that action boss.

Exactly. These children in the ghetto see me out here pushing Europeans, quarter ki's, European and Latin models on rooftops. They wanna grow up and be like me. Get a few bachelors degrees and never have to work or get married or any of the things that you're told you have to do.
