Honestly the NE really need a spot like how they've been doing ATL. NYC doesn't even offer nightlife for brehs anymore. Its literally been reduced to backyard parties. And that got squad cars on each end of the block ready to bang. There has to be a city besides Mt.Vernon cause thats already compromised at this point.

I once went to Newburgh, and it was a bunch of displaced brehs and ratchet brehettes from the 5 boroughs that were priced out. Just poor black folks being depressed living in an undesirable area and CACs being state troopers. Bleak is an understatement.

Breh I live up the street from Spike Pops crib

These CACs called the cops on him because he was playing his music too loud. We ain't NEVER complained about Spike Pops doing that shyt EVER. That man is a musician and was always friendly to everyone.

I threw a BBQ at my crib for 4th of July and I'm setting up in my backyard and this old CAC lady I never met before in my life, at 10:30 AM in the morning on 4th of July telling me from across the way "Can you turn it down? It's 10:30"

Mind you I wasn't even blasting the music, it just so happens that the neighborhood empties on holidays and holiday weekends so it was quiet.

I politely told her no, that I'm well within my right to play music at a reasonable volume on a weekend, on a holiday, at 10 AM and that I was having people over and that she was welcome to call the police but that they won't care until about 9 PM anyways so don't waste your time.

I went back to bumping Super Slimy and continued cleaning my grill

Recently met sum Cacs from PA who work fire/EMS & Pigs in DC & Surrounding area they copped a crib, renovated it and share it among themselves while renting out a floor. There was 6 of em brothers & cousins. They just come into town to work their 3-12's or 4-10's then go back home to the sticks of PA

That defeats the purpose of owning. If you have to travel through state lines, just for a decent paying job or career, that is detrimental to your long term health.

Landlords caused this issue by price gouging because of a few people not paying rent due to COVID procedures and safety measures that had to shut down some jobs temporarily. Everyone got displaced and playing musical chairs to move to new areas. Now anytime I'm with friends hanging out in Mt Vernon, there are no parking spaces due to an influx of DRs and PRs overcowding a residential area with an abundance of cars, not seen before COVID.
