What do you expect from 'black feminists'? There is no such thing as a dominating black patriarchy that is systematically oppressing women, and yet these black feminists rail against black men and run to white men, who actually hold systematic power. If a woman wants to date someone of another race, that's cool, but to slam your own race and then run to another race as if they will save you is another thing. Any woman harboring black feminist views needs to be chastised for perpetuating a virulent philosophy that was intended to break up the black family, which it did quite successfully.

I personally believe that interracial relationships in America cannot be separated from the following things:
a) Centuries of rape against Black men and women incl. forced breeding to produce new slaves
b) Centuries of killing Black men for exhibiting sexual interest in white women and vice versa
c) Sexual fetishization of Black people by white society
d) Dehumanization of Black people relating to supposed sexual characteristics
e) Programs to "breed out the Black" in Latin America (ex. Racial Whitening in Brazil)
f) Programs to give sexually transmitted infections to Black men (ex. Tuskegee Experiment)

With the above, how can one happily enter into that arrangement with a white person? It is not a happy arrangement. Rather, it is a Tragic Arrangement

I just watched the first 4.5 minutes of this video & Cynthia literally just did a Julez Santana special to explain away why she goes so hard on BMWW 'ships, but goes light on WMBW 'ships. This is why I no longer bother to watch her videos on IR 'ships.

i mean judging by the statistics, black men dating/marrying out is a way bigger issue. although both "unions" are disgusting and come from self hate and zero self esteem.

There're a lot of reasons for "swirling", but after giving it a lot of thought, I think a lot of black women don't "know" white men like we (black men) do.

I went to an "integrated" highschool so I played sports with, had white friends, etc. Some are cool, but white boys are the most rascist, passive aggressive, and sexually insecure men I ever met.

I think a lot of black women these days, interact with white men in very politically correct environments, like college or work, so a lot of these guys are on their best behavior. Once and a while these guys will make a offensive comment, but that's it.

Also, I think history, in our community, between Black and white men is more freely talked about, police brutality, lynching, castration, etc.

There is a reason Black women stopped being maids.

A lot of these dudes think they out run white supremacy, or "check" on any white guy that offends them. That shyt is too tiring.

I have a family member who is married to a white woman, he is constantly getting slighted.

I'm like, "what are you going to do, lay hands on her whole family?"

Using a celebrity to make a larger societal point is never a good idea. These people do not represent the general population.

The worst part is that we are the only group that does this so consistently and forcefully, even to the point of parroting/perpetuating the same stereotypes that racists rely upon.

I've come to the realization that much of this is a result of a small group of black men internalizing a lot of the whjte supremacist ideology. Why they do it is anyone's guess. Probably a mixture of deep seated insecurities and a personality type that projects their own weaknesses onto others.
